Ballarat Sonrise Festival

TUESDAY 30th MARCH	EASTER MUSICAL - "LIKE A LAMB" 7:30pm - Neil St Uniting Church, Cnr Neil St & Macarthur St "Like A Lamb" is a moving musical story depicting the Easter Story involving a cast of 35 members which include a live voice choir and instrumentalists. WEDNESDAY 31st MARCH	IN REMEMBRANCE 7:00pm - Brown Hill Uniting Church, Cnr Humffray St Nth & Thompson St "In Remembrance" is a collaboration of special Easter music being performed by Ballarat Ecumenical Choir as apart of Holy Week Services at Brown Hill Uniting Church. Contact: Allison 5334-7906

GOOD FRIDAY FRIDAY 2nd APRIL	WAY OF THE CROSS 10:00am-Noon - St Columba's Catholic Church, Cnr Gregory St & Lydiard St The way of the cross recreates Christ's last steps and has been a regular ecumenical event in Ballarat for over 30 years. Again this year the event starts St Columba's Catholic Church before moving through the stations where participants will take turns carrying the cross whilst incorporating readings and hymns. 	GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE 10:00-11:00am - Ballarat City Church, 65 Albert St, Sebastopol Ballarat City Church will be holding its annual Good Friday Service again this year in its contempory way celebrating the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Contact: Lyndal 5336-1166

EASTER SATURDAY SATURDAY 3rd APRIL	SONRISE COMMUNITY FUN DAY 1:00-4:00pm - Lake Wendouree (near Apex Playground) This years family fun day will involve free live entertainment by Glow & Homebase music, jumping castles, prizes and giveaways. There will also be a Free BBQ, Tea, Coffee, drinks and $3 Bean Barn Coffee. This years event proudly supported by: City of Ballarat, The Ballarat Tourism Association, Ballarat City Church, Ballarat Christian Fellowship, Bluecross Church Ballarat and The University of Ballarat.
